“But I know God has big stuff planned that ultimately doesn’t have anything to do with me.” – Michael W. Smith

We want to be the center of attention. We want God to be fascinate with us, and with our marriage.

And He is, but He has other things to attend to, as well, and when we look at a world full of what we perceive assigns and wonders, we see them as being there for us.

Sometimes they are, but far more often – they’re messages for someone else entirely. They are someone else’s life-changers.

We can,and should, see them and marvel. But we should not try to take the attention that is not ours.

When God’s talking to us…we’ll know.
