“This is a team I was proud to work with.” – Flight Lieutenant Ian Fortune, Royal Air Force, in reference to the crew of his Chinook helicopter after a particularly harrowing casevac mission in Afghanistan
Marriage takes teamwork, ideally from even before vows are taken (like, planning the wedding together?)
And it should be a team of which you’re proud to be a member. It’s one that should call out your best, and call out your best to carry your spouse when he or she can’t – or sometimes won’t carry their end of the log.
You do it for the team, for the honor of its past, the obligation of the present, and faith in the future.
Is your marriage a good example of teamwork?
