“It’s the thought that matters.” – unknown

A friend of mine picked some flowers for his wife while walking home from the bus stop, and handed her a fresh bouquet when he walked in the door.

Unfortunately, he did not see the bee that had joined him on his journey, hidden in by petals.

When the swelling in his wife’s face had gone down from the sting to the nose, she was able to laugh about it, and to appreciate the thought.

But there were a few days, when, thought or no, he was best advised to stay out of her way.

The thought does count for a lot, but make sure that it animates effective bee-havior, as well.
