“When in despair, work on in despair.” – Winston Churchill

Every marriage has its season of despair, the time when nothing seems to work and the relationship frays to the point where breakage seems inevitable.

Work on. Don’t change the focus, and keep up the love and courtesies that you promised on that bright, lacy day when you made them.

Because trouble will always come to pass, but nowhere is it said that it came to stay.

And keep praying. Please.
